Vancouver Island Attractions

North Vancouver Island

The area from Courtenay north makes up north Vancouver Island. The major cities in the area are Courtenay and Campbell River. While best know for its outdoor recreation, this area has many great attractions for the entire family. 

Central Vancouver Island

From Courtenay south to Duncan is considered Central Vancouver Island. The area includes Canada's surfing capital at Tofino and Vancouver Island's second largest city, Nanaimo.

South Vancouver Island

South of Duncan, excluding Victoria but including the Gulf Islands, is South Vancouver Island. The area includes the city of Chemainus, one of the island's best know tourist destinations.
